SnowVolt™ was founded in Park City, Utah by skiers who were tired of digging out noisy, heavy, smelly snowmobiles when they were just trying to access the backcountry. What began as a napkin sketch has grown into a new tool for getting through the mountains:
Deep powder, steep hills, tight trees are no longer obstacles, just terrain to enjoy. Wherever you want to go, our machine is designed to get you there safely, silently, and with a big smile on your face.
Our prototyping began back in 2021. The first version was... a bit rough. Duct-taping sweatpants onto the aluminum seat made it much more comfortable!
Revision 2 was a substantial improvement
Revision 3 got many miles on it over 2 winters. We learn by testing!
The best part about testing is getting your friends out in the snow!
